Templates

Overview¶

With the Professional Edition, Confire Cloud offers the ability not only to change the settings of a single device, but to save an entire configuration template and then distribute it to multiple devices across different networks. A major time saver for every administrator!

Create template¶

• Click on the Templates function:

• Click on the plus icon to create a new template:

• The settings are organized into the columns Device Management, Network Management, and Admin Settings in the same familiar layout as the device’s web settings:

• Enter a name, e.g. My Template, then click OK:

• Enable the desired settings:

• To save the template, click the save icon at the top right:

• An overview of the included settings can be viewed by clicking on the name of the template:

Deploy template¶

• Click on the Devices function:

• Click on the selection menu at the top right and choose the Provisioning function:

• Select your template and then click Deploy:

• A log of the success status for each setting can be viewed:

Examples¶

Initial Wi-Fi country setup¶

When logging in for the first time via the device’s web settings, the country for the Wi-Fi channel must be selected:

• The corresponding setting in Confire Cloud can be found in the template under
  Network Management → Wi-Fi Channel (Initiation Page Only):

• In the Country tab, select the desired country:

Change admin password¶

By default, the admin password is 000000. The setting to change the admin password can be found under:

Admin Settings → Admin Password:

• Enter the new password and click Save:

AirPlay¶

By default, the AirPlay protocol is enabled. Three settings for the AirPlay protocol can be found under the Device Management tab:

• AirPlay: Enabled, Disabled

• AirPlay Mode: Screen Mirroring + Video Streaming, Screen Mirroring only, Auto

• AirPlay PIN Code: Enabled, Disabled
