Devices
Status Information¶
The Device View is the area where administrators most frequently work to get a clear view of the status of all devices in the infrastructure and perform various functions:
1. Device Status: Offline¶
The device has been unreachable for over 1 minute.
2. Device Status: Online¶
The device is reachable.
3. Device Details¶
An additional text field.
4. Device SSID¶
The name of the device, as displayed on the end device.
5. Device Group¶
The group the device belongs to, along with the number of devices in the group.
6. Device Type¶
Displays the device model, e.g., "EZCast Pro Stick II" or "QuattroPod."
7. Firmware Version¶
The firmware version installed on the device.
8. Device IP Address¶
The IP address assigned to the device.
9. Tenant Selection Menu¶
Display devices for all tenants or a selected tenant.
10. Menu Options¶
Functions for managing one or multiple devices, including:
- Restart
- Delete devices
- Provisioning
- Set password
- Reset
- Update firmware
- Move one or more devices to a group
11. Enter Device Details¶
Enter additional details about the device.
12. Menu Options for Individual Devices¶
Functions for managing a single device, including:
- View settings
- Set password
- Move a device to a group
13. Tenants¶
The tenant to which the device belongs.
Add Devices¶

Click on
Agents/Networks
in the left menu: -
Select the agent in your target network and click the gear icon to perform a scan:

Return to
Devices
: -
Newly added devices will appear in the
Ungrouped
group. To assign an admin password to a device, click the lock icon: -
Enter the admin password for the device in the
Enter password
field: -
If you are using the Professional Edition of Confire Cloud, you can assign a predefined password:

To assign a device to a group, click the three dots:
Selection Menu Items¶
At the top right, under the three dots, you will find menu options for performing various functions on multiple devices at once:

Select one or more devices. You can select all devices in a group with one click:

Click on the three dots and select the desired function. The additional functions Deployment and Set Password are only available with the Professional Edition:

For example, to move all selected devices to a different group:

The selected devices are moved to the
Demo
group:
Note: Not all functions are available in the Lite Edition. If you are using the Professional Edition of Confire Cloud, you can apply a template to multiple devices. Detailed instructions can be found here.
View Settings¶
You can view and edit device settings in supported editions.

Next to a device, click the three dots and select
View Settings

Confire Cloud will connect to the device and load its settings in a popup window. This may take a few seconds. The settings are organized into columns for "Device Management," "Network Management," and "Admin Settings," following the familiar layout of the device's web settings:
Edit Settings¶

To change a setting, such as the display language, click the pencil icon:

Select a different language and click
Save

To save the updated settings, click the disk icon in the top right:

A confirmation will appear. Click
OK
to close the popup window:
