Status Information¶
The device overview is the area where the administrator most frequently works to obtain an overview of the status of all devices in your infrastructure and to execute functions:

1. Device status offline¶
The device has not been reachable for more than 1 minute.
2. Device status online¶
The device is reachable.
3. Device details¶
An additional text field.
4. Sender status¶
Displays the sender connected to the receiver.
5. Enter admin password¶
To assign an admin password to the device, click on the lock icon.
6. Device SSID¶
The device name that can be found on the end device.
7. Device group¶
Device group with device count.
8. Device type¶
Displays the device model, e.g. “EZCast Pro Stick II” or “QuattroPod”.
9. Firmware version¶
The installed firmware version of the device.
10. Device IP address¶
The IP address assigned to the device.
11. Device MAC address¶
The MAC address of the device.
12. Tenant¶
The tenant to which the device belongs.
13. Tenant selection menu¶
Display devices of all or selected tenants.
14. Profile¶
Adjust profile data, e.g. email address and username.
15. Logout¶
Use this button to securely log out of the system.
16. Selection menu items for multiple devices¶
Functions for managing one or more devices, including:
- Restart
- Delete devices
- Provisioning
- Enter admin password
- Reset
- Update firmware
- Move one or more devices to a group
17. Selection menu items for individual devices¶
Functions for managing a single device, including:
- Move a device to a group
- View settings
- Enter admin password
18. Block devices¶
Using this button, you can add a device to the block list.
19. Enter device details¶
Using the pencil icon, additional information such as location can be entered in the text field.

Selection menu items¶
At the top right under the three dots, several selection menu items are available that allow different functions to be executed on multiple devices simultaneously:
- Select one or more devices. With one click, you can select all devices in a group:

- Click on the three dots and select the desired function. The additional functions Provisioning and Set password are only available with the Professional Edition:

- Not all functions are available in the Lite Edition. When working with the Professional Edition of Confire Cloud, you have the option to send a configuration template to multiple devices. A detailed guide can be found here.
Automatic reassignment of a device to a new agent¶
If a device changes networks, Confire Cloud automatically assigns it to the tenant responsible for the new network. This ensures that communication between the device and the cloud remains continuously available without requiring manual intervention.
Example
- Before the network change, the device was assigned the IP address
172.19.114.235and belonged to the tenantEinstein-Schule:

- After the network change, the device receives the new IP address
192.168.1.234and is automatically assigned to the tenantGoethe-Schule:

View settings¶
You have the option in the available editions to view the settings of a device and then edit them if desired.
- Next to a device, click on the three dots and select
View settings:

Confire Cloud connects to the device and loads the settings into a popup window. This may take a few seconds. The settings are organized into the columns “Device Management”, “Network Management”, and “Admin Settings” in the same familiar layout as the device’s web settings:

- To change the display language, for example, click on the pencil icon on the right:

- Select a different language. Then click on
Save:

- To save the new settings, click on the disk icon at the top right:

- Successful saving is confirmed. Click on
OKto close the popup window:

Block devices¶

Click the Block devices button to add a device to the block list:

To unblock the device, click the Unblock device button:

Add devices¶
- Devices are automatically detected by the agent when the devices and the agent are on the same network. New devices are added to the group

Rename devices¶
With this function, you can rename multiple devices at the same time using a uniform naming pattern.
- Select the devices you want to rename:

- Click on the three dots at the top right and then select the Rename devices function:

- The Rename devices popup window opens.
Enter a base name with a number in the Naming pattern field, e.g.EZ-001.
The number is automatically incremented for each additional device (EZ-001, EZ-002, EZ-003, …).
Click Apply pattern to apply the naming pattern to all selected devices.
Alternatively, you can also customize the device names individually:

- Click Apply to start the renaming process.
The processing status is displayed on the right in each case:

Keep the window open to see success or error messages in real time:

If you close the window, the updated device names will appear in the device list after approximately one minute:

Online / status display for agents¶

If an agent service fails or communication between the agent and Confire Cloud is interrupted for 5 minutes or longer, the system displays a status indicator in the device overview for all devices assigned to the respective agent.
