Device Groups

Overview¶

Organizing devices into groups significantly simplifies daily use of Confire Cloud. For example, you can assign device groups to specific floors or buildings. Newly added devices are initially listed under "Ungrouped":

In this example, we will create a new group to assign a device from the second floor accordingly.

Create a Device Group¶

• Click on the Device Groups function:

  

• To create a new group, click the + in the top right:

  

• Enter a name, such as Fulham 2F., and then click OK:

  

• The group Fulham 2F. for the second floor has been created:

  

Assign Devices to a Group¶

• Click on the Device Groups function:

  

• Next to the device, click the three dots and select Move to:

  

• Choose the desired group:

  

• The device is now assigned to the new group Fulham 2F.:
